It was certainly unconvincing and at times left me wondering if he truly understood the magnitude of our ineptness.

What got me was his lack of curiosity about the root cause of our missing discipline... his "keep doing what we've been doing" approach.
One positive... he reiterated his "keep stuff in the locker room" priority and that seems to be holding.

You know how in baseball a 10 game stretch in June where a hitter only ekes out a handful of hits, and it is looked upon as "just something that happens to even the best hitters" a few times a season? But when a good hitter is hitting .130 after the first 10 games of the season, people panic?
Hopefully this is all this is concerning Freddie. One horrible game that - instead of happening randomly in the middle of his career - occurred right at the very beginning, making it seem worse than it really is in the big picture.
