Anyone watching Mindhunters on Netflix?

It really is a great show. The 2nd season is out and I've just started it. Just curious if I'm the only one...

I'm in almost finished with season one, where the FBI agent finds his girl friend cheating on him (maybe) with some dude at a session she is attending.

I have not seen it. Will have to check it out.

I have it on my watchlist but I keep watching other things before I get to it. Right now I'm about halfway through Rescue Me. Love It.

Season 1 is a little slow to start, but season 2 picks up right where it left. You really have to pay attention to keep up. When I walk away for 5 mins, I have to rewind or I feel a little lost.
Is this loosely based on a true story? Seems like it.

It's based on a book by one of the actual FBI agents. Most of it is factual.

I started watching it like a week ago, Never heard of it but so far it is good, I am in like the 5th episode, I will say if it is based on a true story I can only imagine how bad Hollywood ef'd it up. There is a reason people who had a movie about them end up not liking the movie because of what Hollywood did/does.

Heard nothing but good things about it. As a Criminal Minds watcher myself!

I've seen it but having read both "mindhunter" by John Douglas and "Whoever fights Monsters" by Robert Ressler (Douglas and Ressler are who these characters are based on) I'm confident in declaring it pure Hollywood fiction.
