WEEK 8 - THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, One man's opinion on the Washington +16 vs Minnesota game.
What better way to open week 8 than a matchup between doormat Washington (1-6) at hot Minnesota (5-2) this should be interesting, right? But hey it's football and we're men so we watch besides you never know when a good game will break out.
Well despite surviving what might have been the worst two-point attempt ever tried in an NFL game to hold off the Dolphins, the 1-6 Redskins remain in the hunt for the top draft pick. Next up for Washington is boring a national TV audience by meeting the Vikings on Thursday night. Getting two touchdowns may not be enough for the Redskins considering how hot their former QB Kirk Cousins has been.
Plus Cousins has a 10-to-1 touchdown-to-interception in his last three games, throwing for 976 yards during this span. Since Mike Zimmer took over the Vikings in 2014 Minnesota has gone 34-18-1 ATS when favored. The Vikings are a mind-boggling 19-2-2 ATS as a non-division home favorite.
Minnesota is a -16 point favorite, do you think that's enough? The OVER/UNDER is a relatively small 41.5 sounds easy enough. But this season the underdogs and unders are doing very well, now what?
SO what to do? EASY PEESY, take the hot Vikings -16 and go under WAIT GO OVER 41.5 and sit back and start your weekend off right.
