  • Well, it's gonna have to be enough then. We'll win this by playing as one. Swarm to the ball. Watch the flats and the checkdowns. Cover over the top and make them be methodical. One play at a time and when the opportunity presents itself- we've gotta make a play. Eliminate the penalties. Play tough, smart and focused. 3-4 is a world away from 2-5. Get it done by any means necessary. Today is our day. Dawwwwg-Cheeeeck!

    I'm sorry, busy Sunday. Though I'm in for the motivational speeches, I have no time for the injury reports et al. 

    The game will be broadcasted in a TV channel, and streamed in several sites. 

    It will also be played in a football stadium today at some time today.

    it is dumb. 53 man roster but only can dress 46 or what ever the number.

  • Well, the NFL doesn't have all the money in the  world. Imagine if they had to pay for plane tickets and luggage for all 53 members on the team... 45, now that's conceivable. The NFL is not made of money.

  • This game is the catalyst for the rest of the season. When we find a way to win, it's going to catapult us into a run of wins of epic proportions. After this game the schedule is must more in our favor. Weather the storm and give these spoiled brats our best shot!

    reading some Petrak mailbag this morning from brownszone.com..His words are..The rule was put in place to level the playing field when 1 team was beset with injuries. Nfl committee felt it was not fair for 1 team to have 53 healthy vs. teams decimated by injury..did not want PS players to flood waiver wires with ups & downs from roster to roster..thoughts? Scott agrees there is many downfalls in rule

    As far as Im concerned they can have 100 straight pass plays.  Teams who run the ball too much in the nfl(unless you are just icing the game at the end to kill clock) don't understand.

    And that's even more true with the nfl emphasizing holding calls on running.  That's been one of the more reported stories of the year- all these increased holding calls are coming more on running plays.  It took running the ball from being a bad idea to a disastrous idea.
