Oh don't worry about me changing my user name, I wont be on here to care anymore. Besides I just signed up on a Bengals message board, so you can bleed brown all you want, I will be freeing myself from the "woe is me" fan base .

Bengals???...if you are making a change, why not a winning team like the Ravens...or even the Steelers. Not that I would do that. I've considered leaving football completely, though. Maybe getting more invested in another sport. I lost my interest in baseball when the Dolans bought the Indians, and have never really been interested in the NBA. Like Sam Rutigliano once said..."There are 500 million Chinese that don't even know we played a game"...or something like that.

  • Next year is gonna be our year, I can feel it.

  • Well on the plus side I read today that there is a very good change AJ Green goes on IR for the last two games of the season. We damn sure better not lose to them.

Art tarnished the Browns reputation, but it has nothing to do with the firing of Paul Brown. Numerous Browns players from the 1964 Championship team are on record saying that they would not have won the title if Paul Brown was still head coach. In fact, Blanton Collier's win percentage as head coach of the Browns is IDENTICAL to Paul Brown's NFL record as the head coach of the Browns.

It was after Blanton Collier retired that the Browns turned into a mediocre franchise. From 1971-1995 they appeared in no Super Bowls and were a .500 team.

After Collier... Art's decisions were on the order of "Catastrophic"

yeah but since art, its been a billion times worse..at least art almost got us to a superbowl....if not for bernie kosars immobility and that stupid 3rd down call against denver in ot during the championship game in 86, we may have won one....what we have now is just a total bunch of fucking bullshit...

I am going to give far more credit to  Ernie Accorsi and Marty Schottenheimer for those 3 AFC title games in the 70s.  At least, there, Art hired the right guys.  Which we know that the owners we have had since have not done....though we have been hoping that Dorsey is that guy.

  • Well...the season is almost over and we get to fool ourselves in the off season into thinking things will change.   A new draft...new hopes.  Ill be honest...its been a while since the diappointment has been this bad from the beginning of the season.

Ah well...its only a game where in 3 hours..the ball is in play for 6 minutes.

  • I can't wait to see what next seasons narrative is.... Until then... let's see who lays it on the line...

Its really getting to be a lost cause to keep  that fan dedication for a team that just can not win games. iTS REALLY sad that this team has lost so many games that I want to just pack away all my BROWNS items and collectibles and just forget I have them. Holding on to the better days during the 80's with the Bernie Kosar era just don't have that same feel anymore.  I have lost my cheering and hoping for this team and I will  start devoting my time for some other team, maybe the Bengals. They can only go up from this dreadful season they had. As for the Browns, its never going to change. The DAWG POUND, has no bite,  it  is neutered.

ohio pro ball is not a good place to be....root for someone good....been a browns fan since 63 and my second favorite team are the falcons since i live here in atlanta...they are becoming closer to my number 1....of course they are having a bad yr themselves, but at least they go out there and don't quit like these losers...good win vs the niners yesterday....and i like arthur blank...fucking haslem is a loser.....

Where do you go on Sundays to watch the game?  The bar in Smyrna is nice but a little too bougie for me.  I'm looking for someplace a little less fancy to watch my Browns.  Do you have any suggestions?  I'm in St. Mountain.

Don't make sound longer ago then it was.  It was the late 80's.

well you said it best....art hired them....they just did not appear out of nowhere......and you are right again about the owners we have had since the return, have not done shit...that is why no good coach wants to come here no matter what dorsey or hasshit say.....you don't think these other coaches see this shit and say to themselves, i don't want to be part of that shit in cleveland...phfffft...i know i would not want it....
