  • Instead of LSU enjoying this time now they are going be be in full blown CYA mode. People are going to question if this was the first time it happened. They will question if players with no eligibility are getting money behind closed doors. The film breakdown, no doubt, has already begun.

    It was unnecessary.  In the history of college football championship celebrations this was the first time someone handed out cash to the players postgame in front of a TV crew for all the world to see.  

    I’m guessing this was premeditated.  So he contemplated doing this before the moment struck and thought it was a good idea.

    As his Alma Mater is celebrating one of the biggest wins in their history, OBJ has to get in front of the TV and make a himself part of the narrative.

    Actually....no one knows or cares much about it...except some around here.   So....overblown local story is all.  One we should all move on from.

    I’ve posted two links. It was on the crawl for ESPN this morning. Jason Fitz talked about it on first and last and it was a segment on Golic & Wingo.  Pretty sure it’s national news now.  Try google or Twitter to see the extent

  • Again, this isn’t even arguing if what he did was morally wrong.  It’s about OBJ putting the spotlight on himself in a way that is at minimum controversial in a time that the Browns don’t need any controversial headlines.

    Are we as a fan base so naive to think the Giants cut ties with him even though he’s a team first, fantastic teammate

    I would say yes if it wasn’t a complete “look at me”.  Buying the headphones for the team seemed like a nice gesture but this is a “makin’ rain in the club” kinda moment

    There's also a lot of talk on social media that Baker Mayfield has a problem with porn.

    I never thought Odell & Baker would get in trouble for spanking on the same day.

    If it’s the same video linked above, all l can say is it pisses me off that a public servant would muck up the works like that. That was not assault.

    I don’t talk about my job much here, but l’m a public servant too. I work for you. It’s a responsibility. Not a power trip. 

    The public resources that will be needed to charge and prosecute OBJ are not worth the outcome. And don’t give me any “make an example of him” jiveness. That’s all bullshit and doesn’t require taxpayer dollars. It’s irresponsible.

  • What gets lost in all the BS he did both on the sideline and in the locker room, was take away the coverage of what a dominate season and championship LSU did. I am not a LSU fan, but that team was the best Ive seen in a single season. Now these kids/men have to answer questions from NCAA/Press about the $$ thing and the locker room.
