A cop covering the ass of another cop?
NO WAY.

The dope heads will make excuses for Hunt claiming it's a non story because it's a legal recreational drug in a lot of other states. Meanwhile Hunt has made the organization look bad. What did he do for the Browns last season? Nothing comes to mind does it? I'd package him in a trade. Hasta la vista
Jimmy has made this organization look bad since he bought it
This is a minor blip compared to what Jimmy has done

I'm not gonna disagree with that. I'm a proponent for him selling the team. Haslam is an IDIOT!

He has little trade value, maybe they could get a 6th.

Not just any cop... the Chief.
Meanwhile there are a bunch of Defense Attorneys muttering "equal treatment, my ass" into their Single Malts.

Well according to the article, it was like a gram of weed. Gip can tell us what the fine is for that. Unknown the particulars of the vodka. But hell's bells, if the cop smelled alcohol on him, he should have run the field tests. As I said earlier in the thread- HEY dum-dum put the weed and booze in the trunk!
BTW, in the Cleveland.com poll 65% of the fans say keep Kareem.

I already said minor misdemeanor’s for both $150 fines. The DUI on the other hand that would be more serious if it were charged

I didn't think the cop smelled alcohol. I thought he said he smelled marijuana (side note marijuana burned and marijuana in a bookbag have distinct different smells). If he doesn't smell alcohol on Kareem then I don't consider it preferential treatment to not do a field sobriety test especially if cop distinguished the marijuana smell to be that of the unburned kind, and a lot of cops are "trained" to notice the difference.

Let's give the guy that brought him here some credit in all this too. We also have him being out at a bar at an hour a bar fight broke out while he was still under suspension. The trend shows REFUSES to learn. Just be thankful we have the complete opposite in Nick Chubb who remains dedicated to his team and his profession on and off the field. How bad is Andy Reid hurting without Hunt?
FWIW Flugs- my brother lives in the the area where that bar incident happened, and his wife knows the guy who owns the bar. Seems the Wickliffe Police are Browns fans, and didn't see anything worth mentioning.

Thanks! However, my concern was more about him putting himself in that environment given that he was suspended at the time. And how did he get suspended in the first place? Putting himself in another bad environment where a camera caught him kicking a highly intoxicated female. It was at a time of night where nothing good was going to happen after all the partying leading up to it. The ole saying is you're only as good as the company you keep. And he's been keeping that company every time we hear about him.
When he backed his career into a corner, being out late partying hasn't been a good idea on the 3 different occasions he made the news.

Kareem Hunt is a legit RB1 with All-Pro and HOF potential. Age 24. Averages 10 yards per catch at RB. Has multiple 50 yard plus plays. Pre Mahomes as a rookie led the NFL in rushing.

luckily, no possession charge. Just a speeding ticket.
Not related to the other incident.. he should be fine. Be smarter, Hunt. Don’t speed with weed.

What if Chubb gets hurt? Hunt is perfect insurance. The most talented back in the league and potential HOF. Watch.

I liked him better when he put in the work on and off the field to prove what he was capable of as a rookie. But today he's only the 2nd best RB on the Cleveland Browns; because there's a more dedicated PROFESSIONAL in front of him on and especially off the field. Chubb is bigger, faster and stronger with a nice little resume featuring elite yards after contact.
Hunt also likes to party like Callaway, who will be suiting up for the XFL/EXFL this month. If Hunt wasn't from Ohio - his path and choices of company would be as disturbing as those of Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel. So for now, we're always going to hear everything is overblown when he's in the wrong place with the wrong company 1 more time in an increasing trend.
Maybe he'd be more inspired to get back to the rookie year mentality in a place where that would get him the majority of reps. Unfortunately, we've always had the kind of luck when we thought we were deep at a position we traded/released good players only to lose the guys we kept to injury shortly thereafter.

- Averages 10 yards per catch at RB.
- Pre Mahomes as a rookie led the NFL in rushing.
- Only because Post-Mahomes in 2018, as part of one of the most potent pass attacks ever seen, he averaged 14.5 ypr. vs 8.6 in 2017.
- In a much more balanced 2017, KC attack under Alex Smith.
Flugs addressed rushing so I'll take receiving. In 2019 both Hunt and Chubb averaged 7.7 ypr on nearly identical catch totals. So while Hunt may look the part of "the better receiving back", functionally they were the same.

Bump.... Obviously, Jimmy isn't happy, neither are Andy and Kev. Could be you screw up again, it's adios.
