This impeachment farce should have been done by today. The votes are there for acquittal and there is no chance the democrats would ever get a 2/3rds vote to remove Trump. But........for political reasons the dems don't want Trump giving the state of the union speech having been just acquitted in the Senate. This impeachment was and is all about politics.
Just heard Chuck Schumer on tv crying about no witnesses and without witnesses Trump is not really acquitted. Uhm yes he will be acquitted and we had 17 witnesses testify and none of them were witnesses for the president.

That was a great mic drop moment. Schiff was probably the best lawyer of the entire House impeachment team but that is not saying a whole lot because that was a low bar. Watching Trump lawyers vs the House lawyers was like watching a professional NFL football team playing a high school football team. The House impeachment team were badly outmatched.

No doubt...but the downer is that the media drops coverage of the spanking these demonrats are getting.
Heard an older caller on the radio say that after voting demonrat all his life he's finally had it. What did it for him was when NBC dropped coverage on a compelling well done presentation put on by a Florida Senator (name escapes me) regarding the Joe and Hunter Biden Ukraine scandal.
Hopefully there are thousands of these enlightened defectors out there.
