Browns sign Case Keenum

[LondonBrown]

Stefanski knows him more than most so that’s a positive move.

Since he is in now in Cleveland,  his nickname can be "Western Reserve".

Browns are really shoring things up on offense.

Except for that LT....draft will be defense heavy.

"Browns signing everybody."

The end. ?

Quality signing... Quality person...

Will push and pull Baker..

I think Case will be suited to the Browns ....... no extra baggage

Under Stepanski, Case took a boring Vikings offensive roster to a 11-3 record.. 2 playoff games, with 10 career game winning comeback drives. In 67 career games Case still hits on 62.4% cmp. rate.. At 6M/year with Baker and a re-shuffled OL.. I'd say we stole the right guy at the right price...

[Bigalow80]

good move. Paid a little more but got the guy who can push and teach baker. NTM, if Baker goes down, we know he is a quality back-up.

Not likely if Baker buckles down...

Case is a Pro through and through... and while he won't "accept" sitting, neither will he be an ass and make a fuss about competing.

He'll just let his work speak for him... and Bake should hear it.

[Bigalow80]

If Baker doesn't get the message that his boy GG, is out the door and this is his job to lose...than he's more worried about fame than winning. IMOP, I think he is going to buckle down and be the guy we all want him to be.

[Tour2ma]

Agree... at least on the buckle-down part.

As for the "want him to be" part... I know I am less certain about that, but I do believe that Stef's Offense gives him as good of a shot at delivering on the promise he flashed in 2018.

I just keep seeing Cousins under center running the Vike's PAP attack... but in our uniforms... and thinking what can be.
