Browns Board Mock Draft

[The Gipper]

I will take a poll:   What is the consensus on how long we should wait for someone to make their picks on here?   24  hours?  More? Less?

[Unsympathetic]

I'll add the Eagles and their attack of the 4th-round compensatory picks..

I already had you for the Eagles, didn't I?

OK, in checking....I had you penciled in, but not for certain.  Now for certain.

5. Miami. Tua Tagovailoa
A total no brainer here. Even with his injury history the Dolphins CAN’T pass on him

6. LA Chargers. Justin Herbert

After not getting Brady and losing Rivers, they need a QB

Some say they may be in line to grab Cam Newton  if/when he becomes available.

He is available

Has he been released?     By available I mean released so they do not have to trade for him.

[Browns149]

Cam Newton is washed up. The guy can’t throw the ball 20 yards. He can’t run anymore either

[darren15]

Yes they released him.....

Well...he is hurt.  I don't think he is washed up.  I doubt he can play the game with the total reckless abandon that he has in the past,   but I would think with time he could still be very good.

Or, are you saying that his injuries could be career ending....a la Tim Couch?

[The Gipper]

I checked and saw nothing on line to that effect yet.

I think I was wrong .......

[Browns149]

He was not released yet.

And I do think his injuries have caught up with him. He was never a great passer to begin with

His legs and strength were his best abilities, and those are gone now

OK, once we get there.

And I will take Minn.

Plus, we do have some teams with no first round pick.  In theory, some late comer could still claim those teams:  Bears, Rams, Steelers, Texans, Colts.

From the Round 1 thread...

@dutch-oven said:

Is there really four separate threads for this draft?

Yes... and there will be more when Gip adds them for subsequent Rounds or Days. So page one here becomes "Pin City" for a while.

But as Rounds are completed they can be cast adrift.

And this thread is the one for comment. Really helps to keep chit-chat to a minimum in the threads where picks are made.
