Yeah I thought he was the best remaining tackle. I know people are concerned he was a right tackle, but the only reason he was over there was that it was tua's blind side. Also he's a phenomenal run blocker. He has fantastic feet and I think will translate to the left side very well. Tiamat I'm interested as to why you don't think he will be ready on left side.

Me thinks SF convinced my Bucs that someone else was going to trade in and take Wirfs.
Good work John.
Would did the one spot jump cost?

Atlanta takes AJ Terrell but I don’t recall him being listed as a first round talent cornerback Clemson

https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/jedrick-wills-cleveland-browns-nfl-draft-2020
With the 10th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, Alabama.
Wills is generally considered the top offensive tackle in this year’s class among the staff here at The Draft Network. His pass protection skills and aggressive demeanor pair well with high-end mobility and should allow him to thrive in Cleveland’s new-look offense. Wills will bring plenty of attitude along with free-agent signee Jack Conklin. Both will help transform Cleveland’s offensive line from one of the biggest weaknesses into one of its biggest strengths.Â
Wills has played on the right side but his skillset is viable to play on either side of the line of scrimmage. Look for Wills to command a starting role from the jump as the Browns look to stabilize the supporting cast around young quarterback Baker Mayfield.ÂOur scouts say: “Willis is a plug-and-play Pro Bowl-caliber offensive tackle in the NFL. Wills has surreal ability as a pass protector; he's violent, controlled, smooth and smart. Wills plays with a chip on his shoulder and brings the kind of attitude adjustment up front that can make wakes and change the demeanor of an offensive line. Supremely gifted, Wills is especially attractive to teams that push the ball vertically, as his movement skills allow him to shine on an island in pass protection. STUD.”

Pretty sure were done for the night but who is the guy you would trade up for if they fell to the end of the 1st?

The Browns must have been thrilled: The Giants’ surprising selection of Georgia’s Andrew Thomas and the top three quarterbacks getting snatched up in the first six picks left the man they likely had at the top of their board still available at pick No. 10. Wills played right tackle at Alabama but has the light feet and athleticism to transition smoothly to the left side. That would allow expensive free agent pickup Jack Conklin to stay at right tackle, where it took him four years to locate a comfortable set of mechanics as a Titan. In today’s NFL, the delineation between left and right tackles means very little (if anything), so the Browns can base these decisions strictly on what’s best for their two players.
If Wills pans out quickly, this Browns offense could suddenly meet the expectations that were placed on it a year ago. Quarterback Baker Mayfield will have the protection he lacked last season and he’ll be playing in a smart, QB-friendly scheme under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, throwing to a more familiar Odell Beckham and working with a balanced run game headed by Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. That’s a 25-point-per-game type lineup.
GRADE: A

OK numbers time what are our participants tonight going to get in lovely parting gifts:
NFL rookies are set to get a big payday but their exact salary depends on where they are drafted. According to OvertheCap.com, the range of salaries for a first-round pick is $6.58 million for the top pick to $1.96 million at No. 32 overall.
The No. 1 pick is LSU quarterback Joe Burrow who will sign an estimated four-year, $36.19 million contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow’s base salary is projected to be $610,000 but will also land a $23.88 million signing bonus. This is a slight jump from the four-year, $35.15 million contract that Kyler Murray signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2019, per Spotrac.
According to Sports Illustrated, some players will get an added bonus of being drafted by a team headquartered in one of the nine states that do not have state income taxes. For example, players selected by the Jaguars, Buccaneers and Dolphins will save a bit of money since Florida does not have state taxes.
