Getting back to football and draft news, the odds on the #1 and #2 picks are......
-
It is not news to say that Burrows would be the favorite to be taken #1 overall.
Gambling odds are not sports news.....it is just information for someone who gambles. Don't get me wrong....when I was in Vegas in Feb. I put a few bucks down on some sports bets. (I won my Super Bowl bet). It is just not sports news.
Fair enough.
Fair enough.
Pussy...
Real mix of shitty bets and sucker bets at the top. I can't see them getting much action with that board.
There used to be a game online that I loved called PlayTheDraft... site is dead now, but it was a blast. Only other Board member I ever talked into playing it was Mudfly. You'd probably have been the 2nd one.
Also had some interesting sleeper insight that was written up weekly.
It's not a draft sim like FanSpeak or First-Pick. It's what you'd get if you combined the draft and the stock market.
- You get a pile of cash.
- You buy players of widely varying costs.
- You can buy and sell at any time (trading) or hold for the long haul (invest).
- Player values rises and falls based upon how their projected draft position's rookie salary rises and falls with events between the Senior Bowl and the draft.
- Their final value set by their actual draft position.
Check it out... https://playthedraft.com/
I contacted the guy who ran the site and asked about adding the ability to short players. An inability to profit from players falling down the board was all the game lacked IMO.

I have placed three bets for added interest on draft night, in english odds I’m afraid
1&2 picks in order Burrow—Tia @ 5/2
First WR taken Henry Ruggs @ 6/1
First OL taken Andrew Thomas @ 9/1

I hope that's a typo...
While I value tia's player evaluations, I don't see him going #2 overall...
Tua, perhaps?

I think those odds may be changed quite a lot after the draft. I like Zona's odds for the over right there. Cleveland history says otherwise, but under new management so who knows.

No that one lost lol
Still getting a 6/1 and 9/1 straight away isn't bad at all. Looks so easy after the fact.
