Pointing out the value of masking. Very good news indeed. But will the unmaskers of all political sides take it the heart? Doubtful.
Some here won't even do it.

when we do go to N.C. - we'll wear masks when we go into any place on the way - it just makes sense at this time.

I've never worried about that with you cal. You've been more than sensible on this thing. We are driving strait through to Colorado and will mask when we stop
for gas and a pee break. Everything else comes out of the ice chest in back. Picnic stops for lunch and dinner. We know them all in the small towns and roadside picnic
areas on the back way up the eastern side of Colorado to I-70. From there we take the tollroad around Denver to I-25 and on up through Lyons.

Anytime they start fucking around with genetics or custom-made artificial antibodies or anything of the sort remember that you could easily be looking at the lady that swallowed the fly.
With that there is a kernel of Truth to the over-the-top frenzy of the anti-vaxxers.

Trip to the supermarket tonight- mask wearing is way down Ohio way, I'd say only 25%. It's sure looking like more and more folks are saying f**k it, if I get it, I get it. If I'm going to die, I'm going to die....

if I get it, I get it. If I'm going to die, I'm going to die.... this is a bunch of horse shit." A bunch of horse shit" said by people knowing what we know now.... that nearly all that die are under some kind of assisted care or have existing health conditions, or just old period.... and that if you do get the virus the recovery rate is 99.7%

At Home Depot a nice black woman employee yanked my chain by asking me where my mask was. I said in the car. She asked what good is it in the car? I responded by saying what good does it do to wear mine when you are wearing yours?...you are protecting yourself from me and I am protected from you. She laughed and walked away.

it might be - depends on where you are. Sometimes seems to be true, other times not. When we go to N.C. ... I think I'd rather find a forest and one tree, rather than use the public bathrooms at this point, even with a mask. People are sick (covid?) are far more likely to use the bathrooms that go to the bait store and go fishing, to the hardware store to get stuff for jobs around the house, and go to a restaurant. I suppose...

This is a picture of a lung removed from a woman in her twenties who required a lung transplant to survive. "Though survival has improved over time, lung transplants remain "very risky" compared with kidney or heart transplants, according to Harvard. This is the first time that the procedure has been performed on a patient with COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2.
Before she could receive the procedure, however, the patient had to test negative for the virus, according to the statement. (Lung transplants aren't usually given to people with active infections, according to The Mayo Clinic. That's because patients must take immune-suppressing drugs after the operation).
"For many days, she was the sickest person in the COVID ICU — and possibly the entire hospital," Dr. Beth Malsin, a pulmonary and critical care specialist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, said in the statement. "There were so many times, day and night, our team had to react quickly to help her oxygenation and support her other organs to make sure they were healthy enough to support a transplant if and when the opportunity came."
"One of the most exciting times was when the first coronavirus test came back negative and we had the first sign she may have cleared the virus to become eligible for a life-saving transplant," she added.
The surgery took 10 hours, several hours longer than normal because the inflammation caused by COVID-19 had left her lungs "completely plastered" to the tissue around them, the heart, the chest wall and the diaphragm, Dr. Ankit Bharat, the chief of thoracic surgery and surgical director of the lung transplant program at Northwestern Medicine, told The New York Times. Her lung damage was one of the worst he'd ever seen."
This is what #COVID19 did to the lungs of a healthy person in their twenties.
Edit: This was the first transplant of this kind in the US. This had previously been done in other countries including China and Italy.

More than likely people are saying there's such a tiny chance of me catching it in the first place and even if I do an even tinier chance that I'd get extremely ill and if I do an even tinier chance that I will die.
And again pal if you are concerned there's absolutely no reason to header Kroger or Giant Eagle or whatever they have down that way. They will bring your food to your house or out to the curb.
And let's face it I go to stores like that 2 or 3 times a week. I've never seen more than 35% of people wearing masks, usually less than that.
