Only two ways it could shake out could I would feel were significant. Huge huge numbers of deaths or tiny tiny numbers of deaths like we've had SO FAR  in the white light of the incorrect models by bloviating politicians.

Either way news sources with a vested interest in one outcome or the other will spin the results as hard as they possibly can.

Speaking of tests some doctors are already hedging their bets on the effectiveness. So there's that.

"tiny tiny number" = 100,000+ deaths

a model isn't incorrect because you don't understand what it was trying to do

a model isn't incorrect because you read an article on a "news" site that reports  it as being incorrect with reading or understanding the report

The anti-science / anti-expert belief in this country is awful. "You can't tell me what to think, I'm an American! It snows where I live!" Lovely

Just another reason it's impossible to have a reasonable conversation with you, you fucking idiot. The politicians screams two million deaths and we get a hundred k. Only jerk-offs like you get their panties in a bunch.

Call me when it gets up to two million and we're living in a Stephen King novel.

sensationalized news coverage =/= scientific community, data and models

again, the anti-expert mindset is concerning. I chalk that up to our general lack of emphasis on STEM based education

but I am fine with you not having a conversation with me. Really, it is ok.

To be quite honest, I had no idea they could shove something that far up your nostrils.

When I was tested they went up one side...and I thought they were done.

Fuk no, they went up other side as well.

I would much rather shut a car door on my hand than have that done to me again.

  • Ever been tested for the clap?
