Yep. Though not a Juicey situation. At least it doesn't seem to be. I will say the whole thing still seems very strange.
Of course, any time any other racial charged crime comes up (that isn't cut and dry) this situation will be referred to as a way to discredit it... but that's to be expected

Well, you are a millennial. Rope must seem strange given the invention of the remote. It's something that occasionally gets used to open and close the garage doors in the South where all the racists live.
And don't worry, I'm sure the next 'potential' racially charged crime will be given more benefit of the doubt from just about anyone, than the average person from Alabama will ever get from you.

...with good reason, being that they are rare and the majority are hoaxes. You reap what you sow.
Hate crimes in general < 1 in 3 are valid.
More harm comes from using it to advance a lie, this false narrative of systemic racism, the harm we have seen unfold in our streets in recent weeks.

The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019," the agency said in a statement Tuesday. "Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week."
