Paul Brown was one of the first 2 coaches in the NFL to roster a black player - in 1946, one year before Jackie Robinson. He didn't roster one, he rostered two. Yes, the Browns actually were one of the first two teams to "Break the Color Barrier" in the NFL.
Those guys are on my roster in any era - Marion Motley and Bill Willis.
