Myles Garrett, 7 year 147$ million

If he has to pay 37% taxes you would still be set for life or several lifetimes. So I’m not crying for him or anyone in that tax bracket
-
Prove what you were saying about the tax rate being 37%. I am just a poor boy.

You said fat cats don't pay that much, obviously good accountants and a savvy financial plan can limit the damage but 37% is top end, and you have to figure in Ohio state taxes which I dont know what the rate is, I am not in Ohio

37% is the top Federal rate...but as you say....proper financial planning seriously reduces that. That was really my point. (so...how is it that Amazon...one of the top revenue companies in America can get away with paying -0- federal taxes?) Ohio's top rate is, I believe, like 7%....but I won't guarantee that.
-
and don't forget Ogunjobi - also one of my favorite players -
pay the man.

Add in the agent cut and players get roughly 50% of what they get paid. If you make $10 mill, you see 5.

Just for the record......
It's pretty easy to find the individual's tax brackets they're in a table now corporate tax brackets is another thing that's why there are CPAs that specialize in corporate tax law and lawyers that make a career out of corporate tax law.

The man is getting paid! If true, Myles will pass Khalil Mack’s 23.5 million a year.
edit: 7 year, 147 million. Highest non paid QB in the league.

Not finalized but in the works per ESPN. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29461044/sources-browns-closing-5-year-125m-deal-myles-garrett

Guess he may not be a cowboy in the next couple years after all
-
sign a trade deal like basketball.
-
A+
In 3,4 years he'll still be producing and this will be Brady-esque.
-
Just hope he can live and learn over last year and not doing that again! Good for him as despite that incident and heard he is nothing but class.

He's actually a person with intellectual depth. He's no dumb jock. And he's a physical freak. You just don't let a player like that get away.

Remember when some of you thought he might want to go to Dallas? I told you then that loyalty is one of his strongest virtues and I expected he
would remain a loyal Browns player when contract time came. Well, the man is definitely holding up his end of the bargain. Gig 'em Myles and Go Browns!?

Get A long term Deal done! Tags just angry elite Players...The numbers maybe shocking? but even Khalil Mack's stat line, falls short of Myles Garrett's coming off a rookie deal
Now how does Andrew Barry get this DONE ?

One decade after drafting Joe Thomas in 07..The Browns got it right drafting Myles Garrett at Philly draft in 2017...Garrett is a Cleveland Brown till 2027 season... Well done AB!
Browns fans loved the pick at Philly & I was there ?.... was anybody at The Muni Lot? same here
Good Times!!..Great Pick!

The thing last year was a freak thing. Myles is as high class as they get in the NFL. I can't wait 'til this is official.
