Madden Ratings

The Browns Board
7 4 359
  • They have been making a big deal out of the Madden Ratings that have been coming out....which supposedly is to tell you how good they think a player will be this coming year.   I am not a Madden nor Fantasy Football guy, but I give you some data nevertheless for  some AFCN teams:

    QBs:  Jackson  94,  BR   81,   Mayfield  78 (11th overall)

    RBs:  Chubb  92 (like 3rd)    Mixon 89,   Hunt  87 (11th)  Mark Ingram 86,   Connor...ranked #30  Dobbins  75

    WRs:  OBJ   91,  AJ Green 88,  Smith-Shuster  86;  Landry  85;   Marquise Brown  80;  Willie Snead 75

    TEs:  Hooper 89  ,  Mark Andrews  86,   Ebron  84

OTs:  Ron Stanley  93;  Jack Conklin  82,  Villanueva  82

    OCs:  Pouncey  86,   Tretter 80,   Skura  73

    OGs:  DeCastro  91,  Bitonio  86,   Fluker  80

DEs:  Calais Campbell  95;  Garrett  93;   Cam Heyward  90;  Olivier Vernon  82

DTs: Geno Atkins  88;  Brandon Williams 86,   Sheldon Richardson  81

    MLB:  Patrick Queen  72

OLB: TJ Watt  86;  Matt Judon 83 ; McPhee  75

Safeties:  Earl Thomas 88,  Minkah Fitzpatrick  87

CBs: Bobby Humprey  89;   Ward  86;   Peters  85;  Haden  83

I did not get a complete and comprehensive list of all players from all teams, as you can see.   I only had a few Bengals in here.   Feel free to supplement this with others that I may have left out

  • Burrow 76

  • Burrow 76

Only 2 pts. behind Mayfield?  Kind of hard to assess, fair to say?

  • I also have never played Madden but the numbers clearly show the BROWNS are set pretty well on offense but have holes behind the D line...... which we know here.

The next draft should be aimed at LBs and DBs.

WRs:  OBJ   91,  AJ Green 88,  Smith-Shuster  86;  Landry  85;   Marquise Brown  80;  Willie Snead 85   Landry bumps JuJu easily..and Willie Snead ain't no Landry

OTs:  Ron Stanley  93;  Jack Conklin  82,  Villanueva  82    Villanueva bumps Conklin slightly

    OCs:  Pouncey  86,   Tretter 80,   Skura  73

OGs:  DeCastro  91,  Bitonio  86,   Fluker  80    Bye Yanda! & their depth behind these 2 ^^ ain't good either..thought they'd make a move on Peters at RG..us too..

DTs: Geno Atkins  88;  Brandon Williams 86,   Sheldon Richardson  81 == he's better than a 81..was Ogun's grade higher than Billings?

Safeties:  Earl Thomas 88,  Minkah Fitzpatrick  87   am still shocked Xavier McKinney got to pick 36..Duggers chose right after..we trade back for Delpit.. and Winfield Jr. goes next pick...Hope we won the Safety draft with Delpit..

CBs: Bobby Humprey  89;   Ward  86;   Peters  85;  Haden  83   might be a little closer between Haden & Ward? Ward needs a g00d season

Anybody think Joe Burrow breaks Baker Mayfield's rookie TD record? 27 td's to tie. Bake did it in 13 starts

    No.

  • I also have never played Madden but the numbers clearly show the BROWNS are set pretty well on offense but have holes behind the D line...... which we know here.

Well....our LBs would not be rated high.  As for our other DBs after Ward, I did not search them out.  They could rate OK.
