I'm going to guess that we'll finish   8 - 8.   To have playoff hopes we'll have to win all the games that we're supposed to win...and we'll have to take 50% of the Possible & Friggin' wins...and we'll have to win one other.  IMO

1    Sun, Sep 13  @  Baltimore
2    Thu, Sep 17 vs  Cincinnati         Must Win
3    Sun, Sep 27  vs  Washington    Must Win
4    Sun, Oct 4    @   Dallas               Possible
5    Sun, Oct 11    vs  Indianapolis   Possible
6    Sun, Oct 18    @  Pittsburgh
7    Sun, Oct 25    @  Cincinnati      Must Win
8    Sun, Nov 1    vs   Las Vegas     Must Win
9    BYE WEEK
10    Sun, Nov 15    vs  Houston
11    Sun, Nov 22    vs  Philadelphia  Possible
12    Sun, Nov 29    @  Jacksonville  Must Win
13    Sun, Dec 6      @  Tennessee
14    Mon, Dec 14   vs  Baltimore
15    Sun, Dec 20    @  New York    Must Win
16    Sun, Dec 27    @  New York    Must Win
17    Sun, Jan 3    vs    Pittsburgh   Friggin' Win

It's hard enough to estimate a season record WITH preseason games.....

Then again, sometimes the preseason can throw you off too... How many times have we seen a rookie QB look great (going against vanilla defenses) in preseason to looking like deer in the headlights once the season starts? cough* DeShone Kizer *cough Mitch Trubisky *cough.

Hope you can answer the rest of the questions Orion - this thread will be open until right before opening kickoff vs Baltimore a week from now.

Yes but no.

When I watch our preseason games I evaluate how our regulars do against the opponent's regulars.  After that I'm watching our lower tier players to see if any of 'em flash...and if it's just 'in the pan'.  I would be watching to see how our new coach calls plays, handles the clock, TO's red flag, etc.   I'm not interested in our score or number of preseason wins.

Dang, I agree with a lot of this stuff. I really want to convince myself that we'll win more than 6 games. I don't think week 1 will go well, but it doesn't take a genius to predict week 1 struggles for the Browns. Like I've said before, it's pretty much the worst case scenario for starting the season. But hey, we won last year, so let's do it again.
