Doing fine-had a scare with my son experiencing some pain up and down his spine but no fever. Worried it was COVID, but a telemedicine with his MD she thought it more likely to be kidney stones. he had a COVID test anyway as she suggested just to be certain. Should get the results some time tomorrow. He is a schoolteacher with in person kids, so it was a real concern. I told him I never would be so happy as I was to have an MD tell him he probably had a kidney stone.

Damn. I hope everything ends up ok and he's feeling better soon. Neither one of those things sound fun.

What was not obvious the his translation to the NFL. I mean, who gets better, who shows such command at the next level when it was not well demonstrated in college.
Even that great article on how Oregon's system hurt him doesn't explain it all, but it does explain enough that his college HC ought to be ashamed.

No kidding. Even in his first game, which he knew he was playing only minutes before kickoff, the kid just looks the part. The pocket presence. The footwork. The reads. The throws.
Of course there are miles and miles to go, but out of all the young QBs in the league (3ys) I would build my team around him.
