and people like you asking dumb ass questions should get their heads out of their asses.

  • BE is a Bum

Trade him now and get some value out of him before he leaves.

  • Its well known that Edwards like DA better than Quinn, after all Edwards had a 16 TD year with DA at the helm. Edwards also always mentions DA in all of his media reports but never Quinn, Ive been saying this for a while

  • I think this is a fair question. BE had never given BQ a fair chance. He plays half-heartedly for him and we saw that last year enough to be noticeable. We saw it this year with the endzone TD drop.

I think it is because he knows he won't get the amount of touches that he will get with Anderson. BQ won't be throwing the ball downfield consistantly enough for Braylon and we know BQ will move the ball around to guys like Flurry,Cribbs and even Robiskie if he can get his head together more than Anderson.

It means less touches for BE and less money when the FA payday comes. Very selfish motive, but I believe that is Edwards main problem. The fact is, if the Giants had upped their offer to include a 1st rounder, he wouldn't be a Brown right now. The truth is, the Giants did not feel he was worth it. That is slam on BE and his way of thinking.

I think BE needs to come to the same conclusion Kellen Winslow came to during the first 07 Bengals game. Even though he didn't care for Andersons style and preferred Frye/Quinn, he still played for him 100%. BE needs to come to the same conclusion, or the big FA payday is never going to come.

Yeah your right.. Braylon who is in a contract year is going to ruin his big payday playing favorites for QB's by not playing hard for one guy.. Yeah this makes a lot of sense to me.. He is going to forfeight his incentives for yards, receptions and touchdowns cuz he really does not want that money anyway., who needs probowl opportunities and extra cash and fame... because he wants to show favoritism for DA.. Your right..makes perfect sense.

Consciously, he doesn't know what he is doing. But he doesn't want Quinn as starter and it is showing in the unconscious.

So you've delved into his unconscious, Dr. Freud?

Maybe Edwards is afraid of catching Quinn's footlong.

  • BE is just BE.

He's so damn used to having to leap and dive for everything from playing with DA he just doesn't have a clue how to catch a ball that hits him in stride at chest level.

    AND...

BE is notorious for drops coming from the team up north. I was p1ssed when we took him because he had all the tools but his hands were crap back then and guess what? Still are now.

Remember a guy named Alexander Wright that played for the Cowboys, Raiders and Rams? Fast as hell, big target, great leaper, all the physical attributes you looked for in your wr. He made the most fantastic catches, leaping, diving, rolling, ect. Problem was he couldn't catch a pass that hit him in the hands to save his life. Every time I look at BE I see Wright 2.0.

    😆

I noticed Braylon isn't doing anymore blindfolded pass-catch drills.

So...how do you explain all BE's drops last year when DA was at the helm?

He drops balls. With BQ, he doesn't even make efforts half the time.

    This is from today's RapidReports:

3:31:53 pm It seems that Browns WR Braylon Edwards makes the hard catches look easy and the easy ones look hard. He leaped over S Mike Adams for a one-handed TD catch from Brady Quinn early in today's practice.

With this weekend settling in to be the final dress rehersal for the QB's, it doesn't sound like he's tanking any catches to me.

  • I was at Baltimore game #2. This thread makes me irk. BE needs to get his concentration issues figured out NOW.

are you sure you didn't mean SUBconscious???

UNconscious is when you are knocked out...so maybe if Quinn knocked BE out, then BE wouldn't like him and want him to start....but SUBconsciously, I think BE is still trying to forget getting his head knocked off every time he laid out for a catch back in 2007.

While Restin used the idea of the unconscious correctly, he still doesn't know what the fcuk he's talking about. 🙂

He's just used to catching DA's footlong like Lumberg.

  • i think this whole thread confirms a suspicion of mine: lumburgh is actually braylon edwards trying to get fans behind da. there: i uncovered mystery of lumburgh.

  • i also mulled the idea that lumburgh is actually derek anderson thus making him the only fan of himself.

  • He wouldn't let Brady touch his crotch.

  • At times ive thought the same thing about edwards BE doesnt look like he even tries to catch what BQ throws half the time but its more to do with edwards body positioning ,coverage and timing issues caused by not having more snaps with bq and also edwards is use to leaping after DAs overthrown rockets and doesnt deal well with passes thrown to the numbers rather its bq or da...

But its no secret BE prefers DA because he will try to get the ball to him even under the most absurd coverage conditions and bq likely will not risk such plays unless BE is open...if bq is starter edwards will start to get in sync with him if DAstarts we will hav more of last year this year as soon as the DCs around the league watch some film from the first 2 or 3 games...😉

    You're wrong.

  • The thought of a guy dropping passes making himself look like crap becuase he dosent like the qb, moronic.

  • Quinn just hit Edwards for a TD which may have just sealed the deal.

    What say you?
