Kyle Van Now
Is he related to Kyle van Noy?
No longer, apparently.
By the way, the deadline for applying the franchise tag is Tuesday at 4:00 pm. No movement there by any team yet.

Any interest in Desmond Trufant who may soon be released by the Lions?

Give me Troy Hill Slot Corner Rams. Let’s resign Money Mitch. Draft a development type DB. Maybe throw a one year incentive based type deal to Vernon Hargreaves who has talent back in his days from UF but hasn’t done much in the league. Of course for those holding out on the Hope maybe Greedy makes an appearance and you call it day for that position.

Starting to heat up... https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2021/03/08/browns-free-agency-terrance-mitchell-performance-market-value-future-in-cleveland/
Need to start seeing a few CB signings, to see where this new market value moves to slot Money Mitchell.. Hope he stays ?

Agree on the wait and see. The list of starter and depth quality CBs in the free agent class is long.
But 2yr. 6M in a heartbeat

Salary cap not announced yet - still waiting on TV deals to finalize. So deadline for tags will likely push back.

Million dollar suits running the place and they did not see this coming...

Jets placed franchise tag on safety Marcus Maye, per source.
Good Player.. Replaced Jamal Adams
Next..
Washington is using the franchise tag on guard Brandon Scherff again.

Clayborn released saves 3M.
Strange move as he’s worth 3M and we need depth on the Dline.
More to come obviously

No tags for Aaron Jones, Bud Dupree, Joe Thuney among others

New deal in Tampa for Lavonte David, strike him off the potentials list

And they tagged Godwin. I guess take them off the Trade for OBJ list too

Wonder what Malcolm Butler's asking price would be?

It seems that when teams take a position of concern, and make it worse, it means that they're going to attack the position in a big way. - They've already tendered Porder Gustin, of diving interception fame.

I think the Browns already have an answer for our DE position. WE just don't yet know what it is, but we'll know soon enough.
