I get it. But I never underestimate the power of MG to affect a player like that through example alone with all the work he puts in in the weight room and in practice to be the best. MG is the kind of unselfish player to take a guy in and make him his best friend in all phases of prep and in the game. He'd have Clowney enjoying being a part of something special in no time. That's just how he's made.

Not really. He dragged it out last year too before signing. He keeps fishing for more money, but hard to get after injuries he has had.

This tells me that his knees passed some sort of physical. Injuries robbed Clowney of some of freakiness but there's no doubt he can be a force...especially against single blocking assignments and especially if he doesn't have to play every snap. This could be an extremely important signing...make it happen. I also think this means we're going CB in the draft.

I surely hope, if this is true, that Clowney and his 3 sacks in his last 22 games played doesn't keep the Browns from adding a DE early in the draft.

They can't double team them both, especially with Jackson now added to the middle push into the DEs. We are doing to D what we did to the O last offseason. This team is headed for greatness. Can ya feel it???
