I DO expect the Browns to leverage their  9 picks in this draft  to move up a time or two.  And jumping up like  5-6-7 spots in round one  would/could/should be the kind of move to make.

now the conversation is... Zaven Collins-Tulsa... a NFL DE or LB ?..? (any thoughts?) Tulsa played some funky mismatches to free up Collins..but, Those won't happen at next level)

I do see those as our 4 top needs.. I'm just waiting for the 'best player available names' to fall into place draft night..

    a) I know, I don't* want Jayson Oweh from Penn St ?.. (they just got scored on again)

    b) my nightmare is.. I think two of the bottom 3 amigo WR's, could be a tough hard pass..... Terrance Marshall Jr // Kadarius Toney and or Rashod Bateman ...?

I'm working on.... T.G.B.B >>> The Gumby Big Board<<<<... stay tuned.. but these 3^^ names keep getting in my way of said "need" vs "BPA" ...

Noted now in red in original post.. Yep ! high chance they very well could be gone.. agree

Indy hospitals are once again set-up next week (or following) to do full medical checks on NFL draftee's... Caleb Farley just came off his 2nd back procedure..

We can throw this red ?up next to their names if anybody can help with a medical issue link...(most we won't get reads on unless a agent/player leaks it)

Edit--Adding Ballpeen's LB-Jamin Davis into future add's.. reads a good game /3 games on deck to take a peek at.. (updated board)

  • I think Jaycee Horn should be higher.  Newsome as well.  I have a feeling the Browns like both.  And I also have feeling they are gone by 26.  I get the feeling the Browns want an elite corner this year.

Rousseau is an intriguing prospect.  I’ve liked him since the start of the draft process.

Explains why he has fallen on some boards.

All up to individual team Med Staffs to clear or not...

Doubt we will gain any insight.

    Medical concerns perhaps... Concussions.

I did slide Horn just above Moehrig..I had them as a pick'em tie..Horn blew up his proday & boards are now moving him out of our range if we stay at #26..A Corner value maybe greater than a Safety at this point ? Finished Jamin Davis tape, got Newsome on deck ? (see both as 25 to 30 draftee values... within browns reach at #26)

And I also have feeling they are gone by 26.  I get the feeling the Browns want an elite corner this year.

I tossed out 12-13 players off the board at the get go.. Another dozen would have to fall off my board before the Browns hit the clock at pick #26..So yes, my top 12... maybe gone?

  • Boards are in real flux ATM... but the scenario is the same. Namely only 25 players can be selected before we are OTC including...

    • 5 QBs... Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Lance and Jones.
    • RB? Could be up to 2 in Harris and Etienne, but I'm not counting on either.
    • 3 to 5 WRs...Chase, Waddle, Smith with a couple more possibles in R. Moore and Bateman.
    • 1 TE... Pitts
    • 5 or 6 OTs... Cosmi, Sewell, Darrisaw, Mayfield, Slater, Jenkins and maybe even Vera-Tucker with a couple moving inside as a Pro.

That's 14 to 19 of the 25 right there at positions of low to no, Round-One interest to us.

Defensive talent will be pushed down the board and into our arms.

A good prospect at DE and CB are both going to be there so will be interesting to see which way they go, BPA according to their board on just those two positions makes sense......unless a WR they really like is there
