Hilarious that this place can be so anti-expert but then hitch their wagon to nonsense. Idiots that disregard science at every turn then shouting "follow the science!" when some hack makes a bullshit claim they like.

The study’s author, Baruch Vainshelboim, is listed in the study as being affiliated with the cardiology division at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System/Stanford University.
However, a representative for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System told the AP in an email that Vainshelboim does not work there.
“I can confirm this person is not one of our physicians,” wrote Michael Hill-Jackson, a public affairs specialist with the system. “I do not see him in our system and our Cardiology team has never heard of him.”
Vainshelboim also does not work for Stanford, according to Julie Greicius, senior director of external communications for the university’s medical school.
“Stanford University has never employed Baruch Vainshelboim,” Greicius wrote in an email to the AP. “Several years ago (2015), he was a visiting scholar at Stanford for a year, on matters unrelated to this paper.”
Vainshelboim, who lists himself on LinkedIn as a clinical exercise physiologist and does not list any current employment, did not respond to a request for comment.

I think the real question is, "If I'm sitting on a bench in the park and some hot girl leans over to pick up some trash nearby, do I need to put on a mask to stop from getting COVID due to the heavy breathing and salivating tongue?"???

Here's how I feel about masks:
Fuck them and fuck the righteous moral outrage of the mask forever crowd. Masks need to be a personal choice not a government mandate. What bothers me is less about wearing a mask and more about how willingly you let the government, which has given exactly nobody any reason to trust them, control all aspects of your life.

Sometimes I don't really mind laws to keep people safe like maybe helmet laws or seat belts or polio vaccinations or forcing them to get car and health insurance… just because if they go out and get fucked up the taxpayer has to pick up the tab I think masks are completely useless in a lot of situations.
And no I don't like a bunch of dicks in government telling everybody what to do just because they can. Too many assholes love enforcing arbitrary rules.

OK, all 3 of the same. Fair enough. I heard a mainstream reporter talking about some places only 60 some percent of seniors have gotten the vaccine and other places just over 40%. WTF? And we know that the kids aren't getting it.
Maybe instead of firing people they could do a covrd test every morning?

The wife gets a nose swab twice a week before she can enter her place of employment.
Funny thing about that, is she gets a bill for $180 every time she gets a Covid swab....and her health insurance won’t cover it.
