Cromartie to Jets

Jay Glazer is reporting that Cromartie will be a jet. The Chargers will recieve a 2nd or 3rd round pick in the 2011 draft. Damn Cromartie and Revis on the Corners that could be very nasty!

Yes, i think he is slightly overated but what you have here is he is the second corner on the jets, he will not be covering the opposing teams number 1. As a number 2 corner in the NFL the combo of Revis and Cromartie makes for a heck of a combo. Also the jets play a completely different style of d than the chargers. Cromartie is at his best when he is asked to just go up man to man that is his strength not sitting back in zones which the chargers play a lot of sit back with very litmited blitzing. With the pressure that the jets bring Cromartie will look very good. This is a perfect fit. Very nice pick up for a team like the jets!

watch the long ball become the achilles heel of NY this year. if ryan wants to keep blitzing heavily, they're gonna give up some points. cromartie cannot man up....
