it's a performance based contract at very acceptable levels. the guy threatens to end his career every play and deserves to be paid like it.

this is unprecedented. they may not be champions but they always take care of people. not the best business practice perhaps, but this time maybe taking care of the foundation will help make them a champion.

i love the decision by the Browns. no one else on the team will be crying because they all know he laid it on the line every play. and if someone else does that and the same thing happens, good for us and good for them. great precedent and a huge moral victory for the Browns.
