We need a Defensive End to compliment the Haden pick
-
Joe Haden played on a team that had a great pass rush. Joe may be that good, and hopefully not a product of the system. I think he has the skills and will be fine, however we can't discount the fact that his job will be a much easier transition if we get a push from the edge.
In the new era, the best CB play we've had ironically (or not) came when Jamir Miller was having a Pro Bowl season. We led the AFC in Interceptions with guys not anywhere close to the talent of Joe Haden.

We can wait until the 3rd and still get great value. It all depends if we trade up in the 2nd to pick a qb.
-
zombo probably wants us to draft frank zombo out of central michigan so taht he can buy his jersey, wear it, and fondle himself as he imagines himself playing for the brownies.
-
If you want pressure on the quarterback in our system you should look at OLB not DE. Theres a few guys in that list that might be converted but top three I'd go with are Kindle, Dunlap, Griffen. With the depth we already have at LB and the fact these guys a gonna go pretty quick, I dont think we will get any of them. My hopes with the second pick in order are
1. Terrence Cody
2. Taylor Mays
3. Morgan Burnett
4. Charles Brown
5. Golden Tate
-
If we draft Cody, is Rogers traded?

I like Rahim Alem from LSU
