The Browns Board

  • Will Alex Mack join him in the Pro Bowl. I say yes to both. Now if we can just get the right side of the line taken care of. We might have the best o line in the league.

  • welcome to the board. thomas is a beast and mack is a beast in training.

  • Even if he gets hurt and has to miss a few games he will probably still make it. Thomas and Cribbs are our MVP's.

  • Joe Thomas is arguably the most reliable LT in football, and Mack is arguably the best up and coming center. I look for our offensive line as a whole to be very very NASTY this year.

Could Possibly be one of those years when we have 2 1000 yards rushers. Jake is going to be able to put up some good numbers as well, he is going to be able to manage the game so much better than the last 2 guys did.

  • baring some horrible accident i see him making the pro bowl for atleast another 6 years. hes one of if not the best LT in the league. all he does if stomp people. he might let one by in 300 plays so thats a good ratio. he was born for this position.

For mack he has a good shot to make it this year with a seson under his belt. its its probable but you never know.

Who are those 2 runners going to be? Harrison and Hardesty?

I could see the Harrison Hardesty being a great tandem in the backfield with a few short yardage situations going to Hillis. As long as Jake can manage the game and limit mistakes we could be a surprise in our division.

    Davis and Hardesty.

  • I would like one of those runners to be Harrison, but if he tries something stupid to hold out then we just might get rid of him, he is 27 so he is on the verge of that age 30 myth for running backs. He shouldnt be to expensive to keep though. I see Davis and Hardesty being the main 2. Our Oline is going to be pretty badass, the only thing that is going to take away from our RB's would be the actual WildDawg formations. As long as we have a better year than last, like an 8 win season I will be pretty happy. The 300 I spend on Sunday ticket will be worth it.

  • Thomas is getting to the point in which a Pro Bowl invite is a sure thing; whether a HOF induction will come in 10-15 years is the bigger question.

I think Mack's got a good shot at a Pro Bowl invite as well. More than other positions, OL Pro Bowl invites are based on the previous year's performance - it's hard for people to determine mid-season who's playing well - and Mack's emergence down the stretch last fall should help his cause.
