  • It was a bad week for Tennessee...the knucklehead who tried to go all Tawana Brawley on the Obama campaign got arrested wearing a Vols sweatshirt. The knuckleheads who got arrested for planning to assassinate Obama dressed as Fred Astaire got arrested in Tennessee (a side note: why is it that the only people who ever get caught "plotting" an assassination, a terrorist attack, etc., are the ones who come up with the most Retarded possible plots? Guy with a sniper rife? Not a clue how to stop him. Guy planning on dressing up as the San Diego Chicken and throwing Kung-Pao shrimp at the president in hopes that he's allergic to shelfish? Can you say "The FBI has foiled an advanced assassination plot"?

Oh, and there was a football game in Knoxville on Saturday night. It's odd--usually getting blown out by your arch rival makes you angry or disgusted. By the end of the game on Saturday night, the mood in Neyland was more along the lines of depression. People weren't particularly angry; they were more sad than anything.

In any event, here's what happened in the contest this week:

Big Winners of the Week: Calfox took the award for the second week in a row, only this time he had some company on the podium, as both he and The Hammer had 12 points.

Shameful Dog of the Week: Thaak brought up the rear this week, with 6 points.
