I'm ok with that. Makes alot more sense than starting the season with 3 CB's

That's still mighty thin @ CB. One injury and it's curtains. Most teams carry at least 5, if not 6 CBs.

I don't get the overloading @ LB.

Bmac signed with arizona and geathers was picked up by miami, lettiing bmac go was questionable at best..and i really dislike keeping aged has beens and did nots over training youth...some bad moves imo...

Im losing faith that our defense will able to stop anything this year or next year..this regime traded tomorrow for today and i dont really care for that call...but ive been wrong on this regimes calls before so i will ride along and hope they know what they are doing...hehehehe

Bmac..Did you not watch pre season?..He couldn't cover the back up TE from Detriot and he still can't tackle.

I feel confident Heck,Mangini and Holmgren have enough experience to pick the roster.

My last memory of B-mac is watching that runner cross the goal line right in front of him , not even making a small attempt to tackle him in the last game .

You can be a little guy in the NFL at corner if you possess some other great skill such as blazing speed, great tackling ability or instinct. Brandon McDonald had none of these and much less desire than such a marginal player should have. Good luck in Arizona, Brandon. I'm pretty sure you're tall enough not to need a booster seat when in a car.

how about Francies? is he still on the team?

if he is, i suspect they project for him to back up both CB and safety, similar to Adams' role.

and i woulda kept Bmac over Barton...but then again my core characteristics are nowhere as severe as EM's.

guess they couldn't coach him up either. EM certainly knows the ins and outs of the DB position...so i trust the move.

Browns defense Alot better than the High school Defense New england has here in Masachsuetts lol

I am sure that the Browns had hoped that Geathers would make it through waivers so that he could be placed on the Browns practice squad.

I watched the rookies cover TIGHTLY (for the most part), where it took a really well thrown ball to complete passes. Bmac, on the other hand, seemed to play WAY off the receiver & concede the completion. I am VERY glad we chose aggressive over passive play. I can stand to lose, IF we lose by playing "all out"...Bmac didn't.
