Browns might try to pick up Devin Thomas

[dawgpound3]

Devin Thomas is a wide receiver who played for the Redskins for the past couple years. Do the Browns jump on this kid?

From looking at what was said about Devin and looking at his stats he would end up being like a young Cribbs. This guy is a decent returner with a 28 yard average and it looks like he didn't do to bad as a #3 wide out for a team that really didn't have a good QB last year. Having said that the reason he was let go was because of effort issues. They said he dogged it during practice and wasn't very professional during practice and that he also needs to get better at route running (another comparison to Cribbs). It looks like this guy has some great physical up sides when it comes to size and strength, but even on our team he would end up being a non difference maker at least for a year or two.

Skins are pretty WR thin too, unless there was an issue we're not hearing about he was predicted to be a primary target for McNabb this year... Has anyone heard of a falling out with him and Shannahan? If there was and that's why he was cut we need to jump on him now!

Bad attitude, runs poor routes and a poor work ethic which goes hand in had with the bad attitude. He was cut from a thin Redskins team for a reason. He's not worth having on a NFL roster, at least not right now.

come on dude, where have you been. This team doesn't build through free agency, we build through the draft by selecting duds who disappear after 2 years

Topic title is misleading. However I would like this move, even though he still wouldn't serve as a #1 receiver.
