    I hate to be a butthead about this- but as a Browns fan you should know better. The Browns are NOT an expansion Franchise, they are indeed the same franchise that took up shop in Cleveland in 1946. And we fought like hell to keep it that way. Peyton Manning is chasing Johnny Unitas' records, Peyton Hillis is chasing Jim Brown's- comprendo? The Ravens are the expansion FRANCHISE. Call the Browns an expansion TEAM. Think of this in the business world. If your corner McDonald's moved all its employees to another city, and then reopened 3 years later, is it the same FRANCHISE? As long as it was part of McDonald's Corporation it sure is.

    the call to start Colt has Holmy's fingerprints all over it. it buys EM time, which brings more continuity, which i like. i never thought it would happen so soon, especially opening against the Steelers, but sooner is certainly preferred over later.

    What we're seeing here in 2010 is precisely what happened in NE a decade ago. It worked for them then, and it wiill work for us now. Why? Because it's the only way it's ever worked in pro football. Just ask Paul Brown. Or Vince Lombardi. Or Tom Landry. .02, Clemdawg

    I think everyone should be excited about this. I have followed Colt for years. He has always been so critiqued (picked apart by naysayers), the kid is so mentally tough its not even funny. He has always come out on top no matter what.

    Here he is now. Still wearing Orange. Playing for a team that's always been an underdog. Two QB's have gone down. He is facing the number one defense, facing Big Ben who is a polar opposite in lifestyle to that of Colt McCoy.

    This is like Good vs Evil. You can't make up a better story!

    Anyone who has watched Colt a while has to admit, everything that happens to this kid happens for a reason.
