I don't buy into "the NFL back then was an inferior league" crap! Are you kidding me? Half of those guys were war veterans for cryin' out loud! I guarantee you a large majority of those old time players if you could build a time machine and bring them forward would survive in this league, and give a lot of the current players a run for their money! In fact I'd put my money on guys who risked getting their ass shot, or blown up prior to playing football over the overpaid crybabies in todays game! Football was kids stuff compared to what some of them went through.
But, I'll agree on one thing; the Saints (not the Steelers or any other team) are the defending Super Bowl champs, and until they get dethroned they are still the champs. You cannot take that away from them, other than the fact that it's a new season, and last year was last year. I have no ill will toward the Saints, and more than likely they will win Sunday, but that is why they play the game. Any given Sunday. GO BROWNS!

I have to hand it to the NFL it turned into one helluva marketing ploy! Unfortunately, they made it so even the average fans cannot even buy nose bleed seats and that is sad, because it's the fans that make the NFL great! I think that the Super Bowl should be hosted by EVERY SINGLE NFL city regardless of the weather or climate. Football is a game of elements. The only time a game is usually post poned or delayed is due to lightning! But that's a whole other topic for another discussion!
