the worst play calling ever!
-
Our o line got owned this game, especially the right side. We couldn't open up holes for Hillis and didn't give Jake much of a pocket or protection. Overall Jake did well enough and even tried to pull a Delhomme to give the game away, but luck was on our side again.
But the story of this game is our O Line sucking it up...
-
If it wasn't for the o-line, delhomme wouldn't have had the "game" he had.

jesus wrrebel give up on gruden already he aint coming here and we arent getting rid of EM

Hey at least this isn't as bad as Miami Vs Pittsburgh a few years ago on Pitts muddy ass field where it was 0-0 the entire game untill Reed booted one in during the final seconds. Worst NFL game EVER
I remember that game. The field was so bad that on a punt the ball plugged in the ground like a golf ball.

Yeah it was an MNF game.

Good game. Mangini shows his brilliance as a coach. Delhomme had a good second half. Defense came through when needed. Mangini will have an even better year next year. This is a good thing.
-
Most of the crybabies on this thread and others , could not support a winning team . Their mainstay in life is to feast on the pain and suffering , and place the blame any way their small minds will allow them . They totally miss the big picture , and miss the real enjoyment the team brings us each week .
Go Browns
-
Why are the Mangini haters making him pay for the sins of Phil Savage and Romeo Crennel?
Yes, he had a terrible '09 draft by most standards, but beyond that, what has the man done to lose his job as the head football coach of the Cleveland Browns?
Please give me one good, legitimate reason why he should lose his job. Please. Please.
Because I will give you a dozen or more reasons why he should keep it.
The Mangini bandwagon is filling up, WRREBEL. But if you want to wait on the Gruden express, pack a lunch, buddy.

The original post here is a joke. In the second half, Brian Daboll adjusted (gasp!!) to take advantage of the key on Hillis. Watson and MoMass were the recipients. No, it wasn't the prettiest game but we slugged it out with a Miami team and we executed well enough to win.
-
Its a joke for people to drink the cool aid. Did you watch the first half?
Yes we won, but it was ugly.
Its Retarded how mad people get at someons opionion.
Oh btw, I hope dan dierdorf dies

Sorry to get mad at your opinion but I'd like to see your opinion be open to change when facts arise that fly against it.
Yes, I watched the first half. Did you notice how the offensive line got handled...again? It doesn't matter what the play call is. If you can't block it's not going anywhere. Did you watch the second half?

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. I didn't see any adjustments nothing look any different from half to half.
No Vickers in the first half and couldn't run
No Vickers in the second half and couldn't still couldn't run
Its not like Vickers didn't play he was in for a few plays in the 2nd half
first half you send 5 guys out in patterns and have no time to throw
second have you send 5 guys out in patterns and guess what you still have no time to throw
in the first half you have a DE that abusing out RT 1 on 1
in the second half you still have a DE abusing abusing our RT 1on1 why no help?
Hey how about a draw play
Hey how about a screen play to someone other than Hillis
Now all that being said I really don't want to see Daboll gone. A new offense cordinator will just mean a year of this being said.....Oh we got a new offense in and its going to take some time to get stuff right.

Because the unspoken little dirty secret on this offensive line is that our center has to slide protect to his left to help out Steinbach leaving the RG alone and unable to help the RT. There was some help from the back/TE but I will say that the RT did better than I thought he would.
-
The Miami defense has some big, serious defenders in their front seven. Usually, I never worry about Steinbach, but on one occasion,
he nearly driven into Delhomme, St. Claire style.
This oline had a very tough matchup.
But, it was a tough match up all around. BROWNS WIN !!!!!!
-
good point about Vickers, Richie... when the dude is there, he makes things happen... Who'd a thunk I'd be missing YATES... St. Clair just straight out sucks....
-
We beat a winning team in their stadium..on the road..We are 5-7 headed into Buffalo and have been in every single game//Do you people not remember the mess we had before Mangini..jeez
