I understand getting some reps, but the way Ben been getting hit all season, I think he could have used the break to get healthy more than the reps. I'm surprized he made it thru the full season without this happening, and this is about as bad a time as any for it to happen for the squeelers. The one good thing is ya got an extra week to see if he will be ready to go or not.

    puss!

Actually I'll be working in the state capital (Ohio) by February, nice try though. You're still a douchebag.

EDIT: and I'm one of the fans that wanted the Starters to get some reps. The first round bye sometimes allows teams to get a little flat, unfortunately Ben got hurt but because of the bye he should be able to get back in the saddle in time for the first playoff game. I guess we'll find out.

  • what I want to know is why you squeeler fans aren't mentioning the fact he shouldn't have been playing...somehow rolling this over on the browns is comical. He should have been sitting like other playoff teams were doing with their starters today. As far as all the people jumping your shit, your on a browns board dumbass...so go back to your squeeler board if you're looking for a hug.

Prior to this game Brown's fans on this board were blasting Tomlin saying he was an idiot for resting his starters and allowing them to get rusty. Now Browns fans say we should have rested them. The Steelers are so powerful they can get Browns fans to disagree and argue.

Personally our starters needed to play some to get into rythm and not get too rusty for the playoffs. The 04 and 05 Colts are prime examples of what resting your starters for too long can do to you: leave you rusty for the playoffs. The 06 Colts didn't rest their starters and they won a SB.

I am not looking for a hug. I am looking for a win. Oh, wait. Going to something Steelers is still good advice for finding what I want!

  • This Browns Board is being military occupied by whining legions of men of steel.

I want to see you all here after you get knocked out of the first round of the playoffs.

Make sure you come around here by then...

Vegas predicted Steeler win by 14.5. Even Vegas was way off on this one.

Dan Rooney (Team President) doesn't own even part of a casino.

The Rooneys own race tracks in New York and Florida that have casino gambling and are in violation of the league's gambling policy.

I will repeat: Dan Rooney (President of the Steelers) doesn't own any part of a casino. Other Rooney brothers that take no part in the team own parts of a few casinos though. The commish has had the Steelers sort everything out and all other 31 league owners agree its a good plan. This problem has been solved and the case is closed. Don't beat a dead horse. (or any team you play!)

and with this statement you have confirmed that the Rooney family is involved in gambling.

    Nice try bud!

the case is not closed. thats like saying the steelers never took steroids while they are dropping like flys.

    take your blinders off!

NO, what he has is a glass case for his SB awards and ring. His team just beat the shit out of the Browns, literally HUMILLIATING every player on the field and you somehow benefit from roethlisberger being hurt?

I bet his head doeasn't hurt as much as Lerner's ASS after finishing BEHIND the lowly Bengals.

Oh yeah man, Ben will start in the playoff opener, and you think you got some gift today?

    Ass Hat

Ghoulie, if the score in the final was the other way around then we would have everybody second guessing the firings of Crennel and Sewage.

The game was meaningless except for watching big hits!

get real! who cares if the Steelers win the SB. they still smell like scum!

    1. I never denied some of the Rooney's were involved in gambling. I denied ALL of the brothers were involved becuase that isn't true. I think its awesome I can have a nice try at something despite not even trying!

    2. What's not closed about this case?

Could you please tell me who ever said a single Steeler never took a steriod? That would be like saying a single Raider, Patriot, Cowboy, or Brown never took a steriod.
