Lofa Tatupu Released By Seattle

He'll probably want a decent amount of money, but it's not like we don't have it.

Two surgically repaired knees amd the pec issue rasises obvious durability concerns. relationship with Holms could be a factor is his suitability.
I bet H and H are going to give a look see so who knows with this guy
tackling down 50 percent last 3 yr

True. There are definite injury concerns.
But on the positive side, he's got Super Bowl experience, Holmgren is familiar with him, and he's been in a 4-3 defense. To me, it seems like a pretty good fit. He's not going to get the money he was making in Seattle anywhere else. We need help at LB, and even an injured Tatupu is an upgrade over what we have.
If the price is right (which it will be), I say we take a chance. It's a chance worth taking.

Hmmm i don't mind the sounds of that. Allow d Jackson to slide to WLB where he can utilize his speed, tatupu in the middle, gocong on the strong side? Fujita and maiava* (spelling) as our two sub in guys?

Fujita is a starter period unless we bring someone in all pro.

So sub gocong for fujita
Am I incorrect in assuming that they would be our strongside linebackers tho? And Jackson while being more of a natural middle linebacker might be better suited on the weakside?
By far I'm more familiar with the 3-4, so any posts on where our boys fit in this new system and why would be appreciated

Personally I am excited to see Dqwell in the middle of the 4-3. He always seemed better suited for that defense and the day has finally come where he can play in it and hopefully excell in it. I don't really want to mess with that for a backer that has been hurt and could be crap. I wouldn't mind adding him for depth though.

Gimme Tatupu right now i don't give a shit what posistion they want
D'Q Middle linebacker and having Fujita and Tatdaddy coming off the edges YES PLEASE would at least give me some hope they are looking at making deals.
