    Flimsey argument....

First against the pass only cause teams don't need to pass....how many hundred yard rushers last week?

Does anyone think Ward isn't having as good of a year as his rookie? I just hear his name being called all that much this season. It is mostly Hadens name I been hearing. I hope Joe makes it to the Pro Bowl this year.

but I watched TJ Ward get smoked by Jermaine Gresham on opening day

    *********************

    The first game?

    With a brand new defense?

Yikes, what a whiner. Come on, man. Gresham caught 8 passes all day. For 58 yards. One of them was 22 yards.

    That's 7 passes for 36 yards.

Greesham is 6-5, 260. A first round draft pick. And except for the one long gainer... he caught 7 passes for 36 yards?

Big whoopee. And you are saying tha every single pass he caught was Ward's fault? Really?

    Baloney.

Ward has played decently this year. I think the biggest thing with him though is that he hasn't progressed and taken the next step. He is playing around the same level as he did as a rookie.

He is very good in run support, and isn't so good in pass coverage. Hopefully everything clicks and he gets better in coverage. Him not playing certainly does suck, because the lack of depth that we have. In all honesty though how much worse could we get? We sucked with him and we will suck without him.

Hey Calsnots, you are like the idiots who claim Bernie Kosar was an accurate passer. Yeah, accurate because he routinely passed for 2 yards on 3'd and eight. Yeah..... great accuracy............ my ass.

We haven't faced an accomplished QB all year. Just watch now that the Cincy O is better in synch and will pick us apart in a few weeks.

you seem to have been cursed with the annoying penchant of overstating the obvious....

go play some foosball or teabag some Vegas queef chief.

beat it, you double wide trailer living, 1 generation removed appalachain, skin flute playin rube..

The Browns do NOT have the top pass defense in the NFL. What they have IS...... THE WEAKEST SCHEDULE SO FAR IN FACING PASS OFFENSES.

Trust me, by the end of the season they will settle to their place among the lowest quarter, and that will STILL be against an easy, easy schedule.

    Correct again!!

We are the worst 3 and 5 team in NFL history..

Being one of the better players on the Browns defense is like being the smartest kid with down syndrome

Ward has consistently gotten beat by tight ends all year.

Facts are facts, re-watch the games.

I have watched the games and after the first game where he did get beat alot by a good TE I decided to keep my eye on Ward and honestly he has stepped his game up in coverage since the first game. The two big plays against TE's vs the Titans weren't his guys and he wasn't covering them. I've seen him give up a few plays the last few weeks, but nothing like week 1. You can't just use one game to justify how someones season is going. How about you actually watch the games and not just assume.

Just from everything I've read he is going to be starting, but Hagg should still see a lot of playing time this week.
