If the playoffs started today the following teams would be in:
AFC
E: Patriots
N: Steelers
S: Texans with #1 seed by reason of win over Steelers plus best conf. record
W: Raiders
WCs: Ravens and Bengals
NFC:
E: Giants
N: Packers with #1 seed
S: Saints
W: 49ers
WCs: Lions and Bears
Important upcoming games:
Ravens vs. Bengals. The winner will tie the Steelers, who have a bye, for the division lead. Loser will be in a mix with Jets/Bills/Titans for wildcard scramble.
Jets v. Denver. With a win the Broncos could get themselves into both the race for their division and the WC. Jets, I believe, can only hope for WC because of 2 losses to Pats.
Chargers vs. Bears Teams going in the opposite direction. Chargers need a win to turn things around and to get into division/WC race.

I was wrong about the Texans; they look impressive right now. The Raiders may end up winning the West, unreal.
Here's hoping the Browns actually get it together & make it tough on our division rivals down the stretch.

Except of course the DATs lost their starting QB for the year and now have to rely on the underachieving Matt Leinert to try to bail them out.
