Tailgate Party- Ravens

We did hold out hope for a party for this game, but changing the time was a clinching factor.
Our last tailgate party in December had 18 no-shows. It is simply too much work to prepare for 30 people and have 12 show up. Moving the game to 4:00 adds to the complications. You still need to arrive at the lot around 9:00 to secure a good spot. That means spending nearly 5 hours outdoors before you light the grille. That's not a problem in September. December is a different story.
We will still congregate for those that want to gather. Probably have a early lunch at The Flat Iron and then a beverage or two in the lot. Please post or send an email if you want to suggest a time.

Gang, we intend to arrive at the lot around 11:00 am and head to the Flat Iron around 11:30 or so. For those that are unfamiliar, The Flat Iron Cafe is literally a 2 minute walk from our lot.
After lunch (the food is terrific) and a beverage or two, we may go back to the lot OR continue to party at the cafe. It all depends on the weather, how good the TV games are, etc. We'll have a cooler in the car that may OR may not get used.

Ed, we have a group of 5 heading up for the game. Probably be in town by 2PM at the latest, Orange Stuff in tow. I have both your & Stan's #s so I'll give you a ring around One to assess the situation- hopefully the lot won't be full by then- or if you don't mind- put one of those orange traffic cones next to your van.
