"We need to run our offense well, know which guy we're blocking and then get the ball out," Browns center Alex Mack says in describing the best way to avoid sacks from the Ravens' Terrell Suggs. "If the ball gets thrown, there's no sack. It's hard to block everybody all day long."

Seems the O-line is a little malcontent with ole Coltie boy.

As I've said before. He needs to make quicker reads--if he gets the ball out sooner, the WR catch the balls and he makes them look better; the QB position makes the other players look better.

Who wants an upgrade at the QB position next year noodle boy flops these last 6 games?

Since people love to call out names from here on out i'll just call you Idiotju. So Idiotju your so called "Noodles" is not being called out by his offense, the media likes to paint their own pictures. We have no idea in what context this is taken. In other words...don't believe everything you read. Whether or not MCCOY is struggling in this offense is not the issue. Lets say you work in a restaurant and you've been waiting tables for five years...how easy do you think it is to transition to say bartending? You still are basically doing the same job but it entails doing it in a different way. Not to mention his WR lineup has changed quite a bit since the beginning of the season. Lets also not notice that two of the past three games have been lost because of ST mistakes NOT the offense. While MCCOY isnt the next Peyton Manning there is NO reason that given time he can not be a serviceable QB. The question really relies on how important this FO deems that position to be and how ready they are to force that issue. Bring in any other QB in the league and I bet they have problems being successful with the level of talent we currently have.

Honestly my guess is we go for a WR early in the draft as well as RG/RT....

I'll call out Mack - I'd like to see him block like a 1st round pick and earn his money and not get bull rushed by Ngata every play. Watch closely today, Ngata will have his way with Mack the big mouth. He made 1 Pro Bowl because 4 other centers were hurt now he thinks he's made it. What a jerk

When I read this thread title I envisioned Mack literally throwing raw noodles underneath the team bus

How about Mack and his o line block for at least 5 seconds instead of their normal 2?....."It's hard to block everybody all day long????!!"....how about just blocking your guy for one entire game, for a change???.....idiot!!!

Hes saying that blocking every single pass rusher for an entire game is difficult. Have you ever even watched football?

What's a football???....man, you're an idiot! He's not the only f**king offensive lineman on the team is he?? He has yet to play up to the level he should, based on his draft pick.

Look for shorter routes today instead of the 5 yard out we should see a lot of bubble screens.

Mack is not throwing McCoy under the bus. He is merely stating a statement of fact. He was asked what was the best way to avoid sacks. I would have said the same. Stop over-analyzing things people .... simplify.
