    Each of the answers Bob gave were correct.

    All but 2 of the answers Zombo gave were right. Or, at least, those are not the answers I had. Garry Garrison and Peyton Hillis are wrong..or at least others are more well known for The Ghost and the Albino Rhino.

    The Throwin' Samoan was Jack Thompson who I believe went to Washington State and played for the Bengals.

    It was. As I said, it is possible that someone less well known had one of these nicknames. I don't believe I have ever heard of Gary Garrison....though I have heard of this guy:

    Walt "a peench between your cheek and gum" Garrison.
