  • Quite glad of this as I wasnt liking the thought of the Browns picking him, so if we dont go QB this year, and give Colt some weapons, at least next year there will be one more QB in the list to choose from, so this gives the Browns more scope for going QB next year if Colt doesnt work out with some weapons alongside him.

Yes, as I have said elsewhere, Barkley, to me, is just a poor man's Colt McCoy clone. A lot of scouting reports reiterate that. Taking him, I thought would not be an upgrade. On the other hand, seeing another year of Colt here, and another year of him out there at USC may allow a better evaluation of both.

I am sure he is thinking that he could end up winning the Heisman and being the #1 overall pick next year. But that ploy really didn't help Matt Leinert's stock. For all we know another year may simply show Barkley's flaws as it did with Leinert.

Do Landry Jones and Ryan Tannenhill's draft stock rise with Barkley opting out of the draft?

  • im glad it gives me something to look forward to next year when we are losing games again

  • The question is will the browns trade there pick to washington or miami? Or will they leap frog Cleveland and grab RG3 before we get a chance at him I really see this happening
