Bodden's future with the Lions may be over
"Bodden, who has an $8.6 million roster bonus also due in February, likely will be released trimming $4.6 million of cap commitment in 2009.

If so the Browns should pick him up and add some competition to the cb position that way the coach would be able to get the most out of his players.

I totally agree! Although I was happy that we got Rogers, I was not happy about losing Bodden in the first place. He definately was not the best CB in the league, but ask Ocho Cinco what he thinks of Bodden. He was able to step up his game against big time receivers. If the price is right, the Browns should look to bring him back for sure.

GET HIM IF HE BECOMES AVAILABLE.

how many times have we entered a season when we thought our secondary was in place and injuries depleted us and it cost us wins.

Totally agree with this. I wouldn't mind having Bodden back at the right price. He was solid if unspectacular and knows the system and organization. With Holly coming back it would be an area of much less concern.

another feather in Savage's cap. I miss him already.
