  • yeah a bad tackle but a great little move by the receiver. might be taking it up the azz on this first pick. OH WAIT they're playing brady and the pats.

i think the pats defense is making waay too many mistakes. pats need a quick shot to gronkowski to put the ravens down....for good.

and woodhead fumbles.... AAAAARRGGHH!!!!! i should really learn to keep my mouth shut. FXXK!!

he'll probably get one in his knee. i need a couple of the other kind right now.

  • I hope the Ravens win today and the Super Bowl.

Worsens their draft pick, so why not.

  • Wow! What a fail billy cundiff. Wow.

  • Ravens fans must want to shoot Lee Evans right now haha. He had the game won and blew the TD catch..

  • Ravens look shell shocked.

    No shit.

  • They are the old browns after all.

  • Will lee Evans now be "the strip" or "the drop"?

"The drop" would be more appropriate. I mean, it was his fault he didn't hang on. Wrap another arm around the ball and Baltimore wins..

  • Does this mean Ray Lewis retires now? ...God I hope so...

  • cundiff lost the game. they coulda at least extended into overtime. i wonder how much the mob paid him to miss?

and about lee evans...you'll hear more about him in another couple of months as some of cleveland's dolt fans will want the browns to sign him.

How much more heartache can teh Browns fans undertake?

As if, The Drive, The Fumble and Red Right weren't enough, today, the original Browns (Real ones, called the Ravens) again caused Browns fans suffering with........... THE FIELD GOAL.

Man, the authentic Browns need to cut this guy.

Exactly what I thought when he missed it.................Oh God, no.......I'm thinking like the Village Idiot.

Way to jack what I said four posts above you ghoolster.

  • I could give two shits what the ravens do........there is no part of their team that links them to Cleveland. THEY ARE THE RAVENS! Not the browns, they are a divisional team....so fuck em I'm glad they lost

It sounds so lame when they say ".. and the winner will go to Indianapolis!"

It's like winning a Yugo on the Price is Right.

SB should always be warm weather outdoors ... Miami, Tampa, Phoenix, San Diego ...

    Z

In two years or so it will be played outdoors....in New Jersey. Why? Other than, again, to pander to the NY market.

Fuck you and Fuck the Ravens. Real Browns fans like to see the Ravens lose a heartache.

What makes Baby Micah laugh today? A dagger to the Ravens heart:

  • Consider the source on this...but in watching the replay it does seem like he's running on the field late.

Incorrect. They ARE the Browns. The Real Browns. They will ALWAYS BE the REAL Brown.

You are attempting to sublimate in your heart what you know is true by fabricating in your head something that you WISH was true, but IS NOT TRUE.

Hahaha. Oh the irony. You are describing what you are doing perfectly..

Your head is in teh sand and you keep telling yourself once the last player from the original Browns was no longer with the Ravens, THEN, THEN, FINALLY, the tie to the ORIGINAL Browns was finally severed.

    Sorry, NOT TRUE.

There is not ONE SINGLE PLAYER from the Browns 1964 championship team that has ANY CONNECTION whatsoever to RAndy and AL Lerner. No connection in ANY STRETCH of your imagination. Still, regardless of that, those players will always be Browns players.

The Ravens should be called, as Art Modell apropriately named them, "The Baltimore Browns". Phoenix Cardinals, Saint Louis Rams, and Indiannapolis Colts. All ORIGINAL teams.

What you witnessed yesterday was "THE FIELD GOAL" and in reality, the ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC BROWNS once again fell short, this time, for their SECOND SB appearance.

Go Browns. (Both the original in Baltimore, and the fake Browns in Cleveland)

Whatever the hell you want to do to delude yourself with dude.

Let's put it this way....IF "The Browns" franchise had moved to Baltimore; if the deal for the retention of the franchise and everything that goes with it except some transient players and coaches had not been made; then, trust me, the "Baltimore Browns" would be my mortal enemies and I would have wished nothing but death and destruction upon that franchise (as some Baltimorons probably wish the same upon the Colts).

But, the fact is, the CLEVELAND BROWNS never left Cleveland. The franchise remained here. Everything remained here but a sliver of paper that said that Art Modell could own an NFL franchise....and quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn about Art Modell's sliver of paper, which the NFL took away from him anyway. OUR team, OUR franchise stayed here.

Quite frankly, I have less enmity against the "Baltimore Ravens" than I would have ever had for the "Baltimore Browns"...especially with Modell gone from there.

The IMPORTANT part of the name "The Cleveland Browns" is the "CLEVELAND" NOT "the Browns".

Who really cares what they are called? It is nice to keep tradition....but give me substance over style.

The NFL is playing on that patch of grass on the shore of Lake Erie, and that is what counts. In fact, the NFL has played longer on that patch of grass..or turf...or concrete than on any other patch of grass in the league. That is where the tradition lies. NOT on a piece of paper owned by the Modell's...or the Lerners, but on that hallowed ground....and in the hearts and minds of the fans that cheer there.
