Call The Rams Bluff
-
It's time to cut the middleman out of the picture on the Draft bubble and give the Rams the shaft.
The browns just need to call up every team and tell them straight out...Ok. we will pass on RG3 let him slide to us and then you guys can bid if you want...all we want is your first 2nd and 3rd and a guarantee he not play against us in the next 2 years.
It's a win win for everyone that really wants him. we get some picks out of him that we weren't gonna get at 2. Other teams don't have to cough up 3 years worth of picks...and the greedy little Rams get the shaft. Democracy and Capitalism at its best.
Yes, the possibility of collusion comes up and we may get a smack on the wrist or another team may not want to play along and snatch him up from under us...then again we never had him so we don't lose anything and may make another team happy and give us 2 firsts 3 2nds and 2 thirds 7 picks in the first 3 rounds or we can give up 6 picks to get him.
your choice Cleveland...Hey, if you cry loud enough Tebow could even be be wearing a Browns jersey next year.
GO BROWNS 2015 SuperBowl!!!

That's what I say. Screw the Rams. Let them ask for too much. I'd love to catch those greedy bastards with their cranks in their hands.

Uh, at that point wouldn't the Rams just draft RGIII and trade him to the highest bidder?
-jj

What fantasy land do you live in that makes you think that a team will "guarentee" a player won't play against another team for 2 years? The whole post is pretty far fetched but that was the most far fetched of a far fetched idea.

That was a joke...really?

No, because at that point every team will know they DON'T want him and the Rams are going to get less for him than they would if they traded the pick initially and might have to trade him for a pick farther out than they want and miss Blackmon/Kalil etc.

Hahaha that's Retarded. So many holes
I also love how the Rams playing the free market = them being greedy.
Low supply, High demand. They're gonna make out no matter what
