Hillis -Cia?
-
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Every person in the NFL has an idea of what job they would be working in/would want to be working in if they didn't play in the nfl. That just happens to be Hillis career interest if he didn't play football. He isn't going to be like that T from the giants who retired after 4 seasons to go into politics or the RB from Washington who retired after 1 to become a preacher.
And as far as his agent goes, this last one certainly deserved to be fired, he has done a shitty ass job. As far as the other 2 who knows. Did you guys ever think that this last agent got fired because he was the one fucking up talks to get more money, maybe feeding Hillis a bunch of bullshit and he had enough of it.

if we don't sign Hillis we are going after Trent...cross your finger some government agency doesn't come after him one night.

Um, no we're not. If we take a RB at all, it will be in the lower rounds. If we lose out on the RGIII derby, we're taking Blackmon.
FWIW, Walter's Football has Hillis ranked as the 11th FA running back available with two stars. Here's what they had to say about him. Ray Rice and Arian Foster at the top of the list with five. (Both will likely be franchised, if their respective teams can't work out a long term deal.) Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back Ghoolie. Obnoxios or not- the guy is right again.

"Peyton Hillis is a tough runner with good pass-catching ability when healthy, but the problem is that he's always banged up. He's just way too unreliable, and his fumbling issues don't help.
Update: Hillis reportedly has thought about quitting football to become a CIA agent. Umm... what? Teams will definitely question his dedication."
Peyton isn't getting as big a payday as he thinks- at least not from the Browns.

Pretty sure I understand the lack of a tag and low-ballish offer now...
Bottom line:
- From his season end performance Hillis can still play and from the same he still wants to play.
- Now it should be a matter of talking to McCoy, Cribbs, Thomas, Fujita and other team leaders to see if he's an asset or a liability in the locker room. For now, we should be the only team with that info. From the middling offer it would seem he's neither, just kind of a neutral.
If I had an offer reduced as much as his has been, I'd fire my agent, too...
-
This is pretty crazy...I once though Peyton was a good ole Arkansas boy who just got it done and didnt care, now its looking like hes a diva Hollywood head case who wants to go do intel on Foreign Countries...Am i missing something here does the Browns team have a Shrink???

They make em different down there in the South. That's for sure.
And thank God for that, but yeah, having a "Secret Agent Man" wanna be on the team is a bit puzzling.
But, it's a good song, so I'll post the Johnny Rivers classic.

They've given you a number and taken way your name:

Only one problem...these are all MI6 references, not CIA.
-
Maybe PH knows more than we all think:

(though, given this....perhaps Mohammed Massaquoi might be a better CIA operative, ya think?)

Well apparently its news to Shurmur about the CIA..
Figures Hillis probaly didnt wanna blow his cover..

Does it surprise you that Shurmur would be clueless?

Herschel Walker wanted to be an FBI agent......Pat Tillman left a lucrative NFL contract to join the Army Rangers...what's the big deal. Not to mention Hillis hasn't commented on the veracity of this "news" published by some gay "sports journalist".....maybe he has an agenda against Peyton...who knows.
-
And sure enough, Hillis has come out and said this is a pack of lies and complete BS to undermine his FA value......there are some folks out there that simply do not want a European American running back in the NFL...

European American?

What....you hate on European Americans? Here's the article:

Peyton really comes across as a "nut case" doesn't he....LMAO. In an NFL where players have 12 kids out of wedlock and don't pay their child support, commit crimes on a regular basis, shoot themselves in bars, start violence at strip clubs with their "posse" leading to folks being paralized, have women fighting in their front yards with golf clubs, can't put two sentences together in an interview.....and this is the guy the media is trashing.....pathetic....so, yeah gtfo

I'm White,Peyton Hillis is White, if your ass wasn't born in Europe and now living in America you're not a fuckin European American.

I couldn't care less what color you are.....but your mamma didn't raise you right....you need to learn to be polite here on the internet....now, do you have any thoughts on the Peyton Hillis situation or are you just concerned with being a rude m'fer?
-
I think that what he meant by European-American was that he's white... not any different than blacks calling themselves African-American... same thing. You wouldn't get mad at a black guy stating they are African-American, would you? Just relax a little, besides I think the guy was "Pro-Hillis" anyway... unless you have a problem with the term "pro" and would rather me use the term "for"... just saying... Or maybe you'd just rather him refer to him as caucasian?
In the United States, the term Caucasian has been mainly used to describe a group commonly called Whites, as defined by the government and Census Bureau.
Labels, labels, labels... that's all it is.

BadNewsBrowns is just another self-loathing European American....I've met him 1000 times...just boring people that's all.....I'm glad to see that Hillis came out today and set the record straight. Clearly, there are folks out there trying to end Peyton's career for whatever reason...hope he stays in Cleveland where he obviously wants to play.
