  • by the way things are looking we started out with what $19 million in cap space...let go or couldn't kees pashos, eric, adams, hillis, damn we will have nearly 30 million by the end of the day.

maybe we are just waiting for jake long to become available next year. by the way things look management needs to sign 10 year deals for our players so they don't run.

  • The way I see it H&H realize its to expensive to get quality WRs...so the plan is make enough cap space to sign Winston then trade their 4th and 3rd round pick to the dolphin's for Jake long...rotating the trio creating holes big enough for even Owen Mesucka to get through and allow colt 3.5 minutes to figure out what crayon to use to color in a few grass stains on his unitard.

    + 1 LOL

  • your math is a bit wrong. adams, hillis, and pashos dont affect the 19 mil as their cap hits were already calculate out. we only saved ~4 mil on steiny as he had a bonus roll over to this year, plus an injury settlement i believe. so somewhere around 23-24 mil.

now, we've signed patterson, rucker, and parker....keep out 8-10 mil for draft picks....we're really in single digits now. and we still have to fill out the roster....

  • While it is depressing, it's a good thing. Look how teams had to over pay for the likes of Eric Wright (while he is decent not worth the money). Just my take.

  • Does it really even matter? H&H are on top of things and will free up more cap space by dividing by zero...when you drink enough tequila you can do just about anything.

  • what....now that the premise has been debunked, it doesn't affect your outlook? would it make you happy to be over the cap every year like the steelers...but continue losing?

try to qualify the issues rather than starting new threads based on misinformation simply to bitch.

what? I'm not bitching...honestly, i haven't a problem with cap space...i can see us adding one more but we will need between 7-12 for our rookies anyway so, in the end we will probably be lets say between 2 and 5 under the cap once the season starts...so all is good
