Here is some more trivia on the NCAA Tournament:

    1. What was the first year that the NCAA Tournament actually fielded 16 teams?

    2. This year IS the first time in history since the tournament went to 16 teams that one state has put 4 teams into the Sweet 16. Fittingly however, it has happened 16 times that one state has put 3 teams into the Sweet 16, and it has been done by 7 different states.

Name the 7 states that have put 3 teams into the Sweet 16:

    3. What City had 2 schools make the Sweet 16 in 2011?

    4. What City had 2 schools make the Sweet 16 in 2007?

    5. When Duke and Butler met in the 2010 NCAA title game, it marked the first time in a generation that 2 Private Schools met in the title game. When was the last time before that that 2 private schools met in the NCAA Championship game?

    6. In the history of the NCAA tournament only 1 team ever appeared in the tournament with 20 or more losses. What school was that? (Hint: small east coast traditional black college)

    7. An 11 seed has made the Final Four 3 times in history. Name those 3 schools.

    8. What is the only stadium that is used primarily for baseball (as opposed to football) has hosted the Final Four?

    9. What is the last "non-domed stadium", i.e. "regular" arena that hosted the Final Four)

(note: current criteria require 70,000 seats)

    10. In the 1990 round of 32, Loyola Marymount defeated defending champion Michigan. Within 5 points, give each teams final point total.

    11. When was the last time 2 schools from the same conference met in the National Title game?

    12. What was the last NCAA title game (and perhaps the last NCAA game period) played without a shot clock?

    13. Who was the first black head coach to win the NCAA Division I basketball title?

    14. Who was the last player on the losing team to be named the NCAA Final Four Tournament's Most Outstanding Player?

    15. What is the only school to ever finish as National Runnerup at the NAIA level, the NCAA Division II level, and the NCAA Division I level?

Bonus: What was the last NCAA Division I team to go undefeated and win the NCAA title?
