Jauron: Could Aid In Development Of Bw
-
Very often in the NFL there are benchmarks and learning curves for every NFL QB. One of the main components of a QB's growth is reading defenses as well as throwing the ball crisply and accurately. Brandon Weeden comes with such pedigree on his resume out of OSU (Oklahoma). That enticed the Browns enough to draft him with the 22nd pick of the 1st Rnd in the 2012 NFL Draft.
As the Browns go through theyre diet of OTA's (Organized Team Activities). There will be the usual running and endurance drills and of course learning and absorbing the playbook....Enter Dick Jauron,Browns Def Coord. Who now like Shurmur, has the time and resources to install his 43 defense. Jauron, As some you know, Comes with about 30 years in experiance as a Player/Coach in the NFL.
Naturally. Most discussions will focus on Shurmur, His offense,Plays called...And the impact new OC Brad childress will surely have on the Browns QB's on our roster. But it strikes Me, that little or no attention is paid to what DC's expose to the teams QB's and how it can affect thier growth. Jauron could have an impact on BW in a very big way this training camp.Im curious as to what BW will see and how he deciphers it. How he will adjust to zone packages, Stunting and safeties cheating in formation. Coverage sacks and Bull rushes as well. I believe ultimately this will play a big part in his development in how Jaurons squads play the opposition in weekly game planning. Most notably of interest to Me are the Steelers and Ravens.
One hopes that his maturity carries him well throughout his development....Time will tell of course.....Thoughts!...

I really like your post. In my years in management, I always told my employees to "shut up & listen". In other words, the "other side" will almost always GIVE you the key(s) to success, IF your eyes, ears, & mind are open.
We have tremendous resources in the experience of our Coaching staff. A resource that was largely untapped last year due to circumstances beyond their control.
